Why are Gaga fans comparing Gaga to Christina?
Christina Aguilera sold MILLIONS. 42 Million reported album sales by Access Hollywood & other shows during her promo for Keeps Gettin' Better.
When will Gaga ever reach that? Sorry, even her debut only sold 770k in the US (and now it's platinum?) ... didn't B2B sell 1.6 M in the US alone with only one song going top 10?

And Gaga only has two #1 hits for now.. Who knows until when she'll have those #1's.. But surely Christina had her days at the top and consistently still scores hits during the years, maybe not #1 but definitely enough to make her relevant

DEADDDDDDDDDDDDDD. The Fame HAS sold 774k and will keep selling, two #1 singles, and a current single rising UP the chart with more to come.
She may never reach 42M total albums but that doesn't mean she can't reach the magnitude of popularity and relevancy Christina once had (which she already has), and sell amazingly with CURRENT sales, instead of digging into the past where sales were higher.

I doubt GaGa will be relevant five years from now. Shes just a two hit wonder, she doesnt have that longevity factor like Beyonce, Christina, Britney or Rihanna. Plus shes hideous

I feel so bad for Christina, shes always compared to somebody or in someone's shadow. She is the best vocalist to come out in the past 20 years yet she really is an underdog and underappreciated by the general public. And to compare her to someone of Gaga's status is a blow not to mention an insult, after all she has accomplished and all those years she's been gracing us with her legendness, how dare you put her in the same league as Freddy GaGa
