News: Phone charged in SECONDS with new battery

And it will keep going for more than seven times as long as a lithium-ion battery.

A traditional battery can be recharged around 1,000 times, while this can withstand 7,500 cycles

I've been waiting for battery tech to develop finally it's catching up to SOC, Cams, and display tech.

Nah I'd rather see Apple monopolize

It's not like this will ever go commercial anyway, there's been so many battery innovations in the past decade that never come to light because they're all flawed in some way

this one lacks capacity of lithium ion.

But watch the high tech companies upgrade the batteries a little bit at a time to keep fishing in waves of customers with each new product launch.

See that's something Apple would do.

If Samsung gets it, they'd just BEYONCE it into their next phone.

That's one of the many reasons why Samsung has the highest customer loyalty ratings at almost twice the industry benchmark

And I repeat, there have been hundreds of stories like this over the past decade. There hasn't been a better created yet that is better than lithium ion in every way, unless you want your phone that you hold next to your brain to have a nuclear reactor inside of it...

I agree - As pointed out in my earlier thread, apple desperately needs to do something quick seeing as their stan base isnt as loyal as they would like
