I'm sorry but Cindi is nothing, she's been with Mariah only since her breakdown and since that point the only major redemption queen had was her TEOM era which was thanks to actual return to good music and Benny Medina I believe. Publicist wise she's been nothing for Mariah, couldn't even tell her to sit and wait to marry Nick until after the E=MC2 era SMASHED (still fuming she cut that short) TMB, Migrate and IBLYLT would have been back to back #1's for her at the time no question but she ruined all the momentum she had with Bye Bye and going MIA only to come marrying Nick Cannon which at time was so odd to any human... a mess. Good ridance Cindy!

Something tells me it may be to do with that whole Brett Ratner situation from a few weeks ago. Didn't TMZ sort of insinuate that it may have been a deliberate rouse from Camp Mariah (probably to make it look like she's moving on from Nick)? Weren't there pics of Brett on the SAME boat as Mimi kissing a DIFFERENT woman?

Cindi's claim that she felt it best to move on suggests there's a reason for it. Also, it's common-practice, especially in amicable splits, for the artist to be given the grace of being seen to be the one leaving. Having Cindi put out a statement before Mimi makes me think that it wasn't as nice a split as she's making it out to be.

That said, it could be exactly what Mariah needs. She needs a fresh approach. Hopefully the next person brought in is hungry and eager to make a mark. I also hope he or she aren't "yes" people. Mimi doesn't need anymore of those.
