They should cancel the show or kick Ian off with Nina. Damon and Bonnie is random as hell (for the tv series) and for better or worse, things have revolved around Elena since the show's beginning.
I don't see the show lasting past season 6 and I'm not watching it once Elena's gone. I was a hardcore stan from the beginning and I can hear the death knoll ringing loud and clear.
Good she knew the show has been absolutely tragic for the last three years and left the sinking ship. She deserves some career playing in other productions, her looks and acting were the only good thing about this show lately.
I mean, Elena became very annoying over the couple of seasons but she's still kinda the center-point of the whole show, will be weird watching it without her.
