No one is disagreeing that the US has many racial issues. But to think Europe is any better when many of the problems regarding race stem from there is a bit unfair imo.
I'm still trying to understand why ya'll try to compare an entire continent with one country. It's nice to know you think the U.S. is relevant enough to stand on it's own identity.
And better for who? Europe may be better for white people, but for the rest of us, it doesn't get any better over there than it does in America. And like Jonny said, at least America is willing to discuss racial inequality, whereas Europeans pretend it doesn't even exist.
Let's not forget that the entire European continent of around 50 countries has only double the total population of the USA... It's not exactly like comparing Europe to some tiny country...
I don't know about Europe as a whole, but I definitely prefer it for the countries (such as the UK) which are much more financially inclusive for the population. Things like free health-care for everyone, and the way we pay for education (when we are out of university and have jobs, money is deducted before tax to go towards tuition fees and student loans rather than paying up-front).
Not to mention Europe being MUCH more gay-friendly than the US.

Well, your point makes no sense. Are you implying the Europe we know today is racist due to a handful of imperialist states in the 16th century?
Well, I like Germany but I prefer the US I think. The US to me seems a bit safer. I mean, our country is a safe place too but I'm scared that there might come a party and turn Germany into Russia 2. I prefer the US government.
Safer?
How many citizens are killed by the police or used too much force at stoppings.
Gun laws? Medical care?

What about Indiana? Gays can marry in Indiana unlike Germany for example. And they also have made some changes to that "religious freedom" law after many Indiana residents complained about it
