Is American Oxygen an ironic song??? Is it meant to be satirical?

That is not the case. It's basically just all about the American struggle.

The girls aren't obviously shelling out the coins for Tidal, so it'll still sell and get the views once they release it on iTunes and her Vevo. Might be a week, but they're probably waiting to see the reception to a tidal exclusive first.

That's what the song is about, the struggle to achieve the American Dream. What you can't seem to grasp is the concept of the video, shows the struggles americans went through, and continue to go through.

All the images show people chasing the American Dream, as well as the symbolism of MLK's funeral, he died yet still inspired a Nation of people to unite for freedom.



It may be dark and tragic at parts, but thats what the chase for the American Dream is hun.
