MJ paid $200M to victims in hush money
Lawyers say Jacko paid $200M in hush money to victims
Wade Robson and James Safechuck may accomplish what countless prosecutors could not: prove in court that Michael Jackson was a serial child molester.
[...]
If they’re successful, Robson, 32, and Safechuck, 36, would have an advantage over previous cases. Thanks to discovery rules in civil cases, the duo would be able to introduce a wealth of evidence excluded from criminal proceedings — including, for the first time, how much Jackson paid alleged victims and their families.
Lawyers say the King of Pop shelled out nearly $200 million to as many as 20 victims.
[...]
Safechuck claims in court filings that Jacko held a secret wedding ceremony, with the young boy as his bride. He said the singer gave him a marriage certificate and a wedding band as keepsakes and confirmation of their “undying love.”
It was Safechuck and another alleged victim, Jordan Chandler, to whom Jacko’s sister LaToya *referred in a 1993 Tel Aviv press conference in which she vowed to “not be a silent collaborator in my brother’s crimes.”
[...]
Jacko had always denied he molested children but refused to testify on his own behalf. In recorded depositions, Jacko mostly evaded questions about his relationship with boys, insisting only that he would never hurt a child.
Those depositions, taken during music-industry-related lawsuits from the 1990s and early 2000s, include videos in which Jackson appeared heavily intoxicated, slurring his words and seemingly falling asleep.
[...]
The duo for the first time will be allowed to detail past, undisclosed settlements between Jacko and boys. Sources contend there were at least 20 young victims, who reaped — with their parents and attorneys — upward of $200 million cumulatively in hush money.
[...]
“All of this is documented, and it will certainly help to sway a jury, particularly a civil jury who is not considering reasonable doubt but a preponderance of the evidence,” a prosecution source said.

I hope I don't see any "Let him rest in peace" responses in here. Whether it be true or not, it's for the courts to decide. If it is true then he should be outed for what he did, If it isn't then it will further help remove some of the stain caused.

Will these "victims" move on already? The man is dead. You didn't have the courage to handle your supposed abuse when he was alive, but now that he is dead and can't defend himself, you decide to come out the woodworks!? Oh please.

When I saw them refer to him as 'Jacko' I lost all interest. Another term given to him by bitter and jealous people pressed that he was slaying the world left and right.

I don't know what to say.
If he really did it he should be outed and the world should know what he did, because many people has him in a huge pedestal.
But I hope he finds peace, after all he was a very damaged person with a lot of traumas, he was never in his 5 senses. I feel sorry for him anyway.

I don't care anymore. If they want to speak, go ahead. I never stanned for Michael under any circumstances but I definitely do not want to hear about THIS side of him much longer.

Let him rest in peace
Like he's dead. The victims cannot realistically get justice so they have to live with it. There's no point now in bringing this back up. The damage is done, everyone most likely got their closure at this point. It's unnecessary. Some things are better left unknown.

His career has nothing to do with the fact that he was a ''child molester'' (if he really was).
Those are 2 separate topics.

Something is very sketchy about the industry particularly when it came to Michael tbh.

So? These were children, there is no time limit on abuse. If you were the one allegedly abused as a child I would hope that you would have the courage to handle it, but the chances are it would be hard to do so. Death doesn't bring absolution, just like Jimmy Saville, If he's guilty he should be outed and known for what he is.

Disgusting response, im sure you wouldn't feel the same way if you were a victim of sexual abuse. Its sad how people want to overlook these accusations just because MJ was a beloved musician.

His career definitely had something to do with the fact that people were terribly antsy to bring him down and see him fall. Michaels fault was trusting too many people who later turned against him during his time of need

People won't let MJ rest in peace. We know he paid people off. Let it rest. He's dead. He left it all behind.

That is a disgusting comment and you deserve a perm ban for that.
Child abuse is DISGUSTING and it sticks with the victims for years. It effects everything they do, who they are and how they do things its not just simple to "move on". Especially if they were abused by someone of his fame who is classed as a legend, they are never going to be able to move on because he will still be referenced, mentioned and played.
