Physical attraction always comes first for me, the emotional connection would either make or break that attraction. But if I feel connected to an average looking guy because of his personality, that physical attraction will grow too. That being said, I don't think I will ever be emotionally attracted to an ugly person because the look is always the catalyst.

I suppose that physical attraction usually comes first, but the emotional attraction is a much stronger feeling that I value more.
