We love trying new things and experimenting and taking risks, that’s what we’re all about,” Nelson says. On her left, Leigh-Anne Pinnock agrees. “We’ve sort of done the 90s thing, as well, so we wanted to try something new and different.” On her right, Perrie Edwards adds that it all comes down to their love of the era’s music. “Obviously our parents love it, as well, so we got inspiration from them. The ball got rolling and we got kind of obsessed with this sound and production.”

Hoping for a couple house-influenced tracks tbh, but I'm excited for this 80s sound too. As ATRL's #1 Little Mix stan Shy Boy pointed out, the Salute album had some really great 90s influences to it. I'm really impressed at how they've been able to keep my attention for not just one or two but now three eras. They are so great.
