Not so bad considering the bad publicity around Artpop from 2013 to mid 2014 w/ Cheek To Cheek.
Just Dance should reach 7M within the next 3 months.
The Edge Of Glory should get the 3x platinum certification within this year.
I wouldn't say tracklist organization makes or breaks albums, but it's really important. If not properly arranged, an album can seem disjointed mess, even if it would seem like a fantastic experience in a different order.
The 1-2-3-4 punch at the start of The Fame is honestly why it got a 71 on Metacritic, in my opinion. Though ARTPOP does have some moments of organizational brilliance ("Mary Jane Holland" to "Dope" to "Gypsy" is spot-on), I think it could have fared at least slightly better critically if the tracklist had been organized differently.
Oh no, does this mean we're going to be reorganizing tracklists again?
:eli:
1. MTN
2. Born This Way
3. Judas
4. Scheisse
5. Bloody Mary
6. BJAF
7. HML
8. Government Hooker
9. Highway Unicorn
10. Electric Chapel
11. You + I
12. Hair
13. Edge of Glory
*BONUS*
14. Fashion Of His Love
15. Bad Kids
16. Americano
91+ Metacritic guaranteed.
(Born This Way the song is trash, I just had to include it because it's the title track + it went #1 for 6 weeks somehow)

Mess at "Highway Unicorn" being there. Put "The Queen" in its place and bump "Highway Unicorn" to bonus (so it can still be the tour opener), and I agree.
And, though I love "Born This Way" as a lead single, the song is really mediocre. I'm baffled how it remained #1 for six weeks. It even blocked "Forget You".

Nonsense, why would I put a suicide-inducing song on an album about self acceptance?
