I spent 23 years caring about gay rights, and I and my community won our freedom. And it was a decision that would give those that have religious beliefs their freedom of expression too. I don't expect any more than that. Compromise.
They're the same as me. If gay rights were as easy as turning a light on, then they'd turn the light on. But they're not prepared to get out of bed early on a Saturday morning to protest for it. We'd all rather sleep in, or spend our time doing...literally anything else.
