Same. I enjoy having a discussion about charts, but I don't like complaining about them or relying on them to have an opinion about the music. I think what Yzma was saying was that he personally wasn't invested in the charts, but I remember back then the boards were a mess because of the expectations and chart runs
bingo! At the time I thought the only "chart" was the iKoons chart.
I remember when the Born This Way single cover came out and I didn't notice anything different at first look apart from the fact that she had no eyebrows and then someone on Twitter was like "Why is her shoulder all pointy??!!!??" and I took another look and I thought it was just because she was super skinny at the time Then I noticed them on her face and almost had a heart attack
Unpopular opinion but those horns on her face and shoulders were my fave part of the BTW era

!!!
I was so excited when she came out with the horns and said that the videos would be "an exploration of a different world" or whatever. What could have been.
I lowkey () cared about charts until she "flopped" with ARTPOP. After that I realized I still love her and my dedication didn't change just because I could no longer brag about her chart success. Nowadays I'm just happy knowing that I stan for the most talented pop girl of our generation.

When I saw them at the Grammys I was like "This bitch is about to freak everyone the **** out and I love it" I look back on it now and I appreciate it a lot more. Since 2011 I've started listening to stuff other than mainstream pop music and upon discovering these underground acts I've come to see what Gaga is really trying to do, she's trying to bring these types of theatrics and looks and genres to the mainstream she may not be doing it too successfully at the moment but she's trying and I really appreciate that and I hope she continues to do it more in the future
