Mark RONSON: I'm going to do some recording with Lana Del Rey today and tomorrow. I found this cool old studio out here.
Q-TIP: Are you producing?
RONSON: I don't know. She has some songs and I said I had some demo ideas, and if they are any good, then maybe she'll like them and we'll go from there.
Q-TIP: Is that usually how you approach when you produce? Demo ideas and then you call people?
RONSON: I call everybody until I find somebody who's actually making an album, and then I'm like, "Well, can I just do some demos for free." [laughs] No, sorry. I'm being an idiot.
Do your research before judging. Mark Ronson is not just the guy who produced Uptown Funk. He is acclaimed and attributed largely to one of the best albums of recent time.
I am NOT HERE for the shade some members are trying to throw towards Mark just because they only know Uptown Funk. Expand your tastes a bit people. This has the potential to be amazing.
