I think "American Oxygen" has a good chance of hitting Number One, and that song may ultimately be the one that knocks "Uptown Funk" out of the top spot. However, AO wouldn't debut at #1. If it's got a video, Spotify, and proper promotion, I could see AO knocking UF out of #1 after 18 weeks.

BBHMM won't, and I doubt SYA can hold onto sales long enough for the other metrics to catch up. "Sugar" can't get much further on airplay, as its making small daily gains at Top 40. I doubt Monday night can give it the boost it needs, but it could keep the song in the Top 2 a couple of extra weeks.

"Earned It" probably has a better chance than M5, but I still think it would need several weeks to catch up to Ronson/Mars. "Trap Queen" is truly awful, and I'd hate to be a Billboard executive if that song reached Number One on the Hot 100.

Yikes! Poor everyone that thought Rihanna was snatching back. If we check how BBHMM was selling relative to UF!, it went from 92% to 94% to 89% to 82%. This will have to rely on radio and constant promo for it to sustain itself, but it could still stabilize within the Top 10 for as much time as FFS has. We'll see.

Pretty bad updates for Trap Queen and Earned It as well. Looks like the songs in the Top 10 that sell more over the weekends are UF!, Sugar, and Shut Up And Dance.

"American Oxygen" won't have time to get enough sales in 30 hours to finish the week at #1. The song should get over 100,000 next week though, maybe 150,000+, which will help the song get a much better spot on the chart.

It's okay. With all of the promotion and tactics they pulled this era, they still won't scan a milli with V. They can keep their cute airplay-fueled hits Ellie's magnun opus remains unbothered and the bigger hit.

EDIT: they might hit a milli. I just checked their stats. Still underwhelming considering the massive airplay they've had this era.

Glad to see SYA increasing so much. The tie-in was heart-wrenching and left a lot of people crying at the end, including myself.

Rihanna's not an artist that gets #1 during the first week (see We Found Love and Diamonds their chart runs), so UF! doesn't have to worry about that during its path to breaking the Hot 100 record. I do hope American Oxygen gets released soon though.

As of now, the biggest threat is still Sugar (which isn't really that big at all, UF! has been outselling it by about 20% the whole week), with Earned It a bit far behind. I think EI will still take about 2-3 weeks to pass Sugar on overall points. SYA is also a wildcard, but I think EI will continue to be ahead of it for about a month because of airplay.
