I don't know how to feel about this Doo Wop pop revival that's happening-ish. I LOVE the period, but Jesus, those songs are the definition of generic. It's like they choose couple of no.1's from 1959 to 1962 and mashed them up.
I *love* the production on the new album. I just don't know why Floor, ha vocal range wasn't used to full extent. She can easily get close to Tarja style of vocals, she slayed Nemo/I Wish God Had an Jesus, and I feel she can do much better than what's showcased on teh alberm.
EFMB is an solid album, not their best, but okay.
In a Dutch interview she said the songs didn't call for operatic vocals. Some songs originally had them, but when rehearsing they decided a different approach was better.

Oh well. I think Floor was a fantastic choice for NW, and I'm so happy that's she's with them. Maybe next album will have more falsettos and operatic vocals, either way, I'm sure I'll be jamming.
FFS was a bigger WW hit than any Beyst song this decade and BBHMM is shaping up to be a bigger US hit than any Beyst song this decade. The fact that they dont have a leg to stand on yet they keep trying
