The day she announced she was not performing at the Grammys was the official end of this era. Style, even with an unbelievably bad and transparent chorus, was good enough to go #1 with a brilliant video and massive promo. Top3 at worst.

They're like the pop rock song which represents the sound of each eras (Sparks Fly, Red : country-pop rock; Style : synthpop-pop rock). It's so Taylor-ish and undoubtedly the easiest song to be accepted because it's so well-balanced. Taylor thinks she doesnt need to try hard to promote them like SIO, which is not really her, or WANEGBT or Trouble which are departure from her previous sound
