I really have so much to write about but I can't find the time. I'm on spring break though now, so I think I'll just go away into the mountains every day to write because my roommates never leave the apartment

during last season I didn't really know where I was headed or what I was doing in my life because I had left school and was kinda lost and going through some changes and adapting

now I have got into a university and will be moving away to a city and starting after summer, already know some people there and just found out i'm gonna be a brother again so everything is going to be a lot different, so i'm really excited by all of this which is a lot different to how i felt a few months back

Not you thots having brand new motivation and writing material while I'm sitting here basically all tapped out

I'm sitting here stuck trying to get out of writers block writing stupid stuff like

An easy way to get creativity flowing that I have experienced is to write to a songs pre-existing instrumental or write using the melody of a pre-existing song. Once it is finished you can re-write the melody to be your own

The thing with me is that the reason I struggle from time to time with my writing is that the majority of the time, I can only write exactly what I feel/felt or have gone through/ what I'm going through. So when I hit a period in life where nothing major is really going on, it dries up. Although I have been revisiting old songs lately and surprisingly have been able to add to them and finish some.
