I'm not even mad about the joke, I'm mad about the presentation of the joke. It was so stupid and completely unnecessary. Maybe if Bruce was actually a singer it would have made sense but he is a reality television star and he has nothing to do with a music awards ceremony. Its randomness makes it feel calculated and extremely mean.
