Exactly. You'll honestly grow so much in the next few years and a lot of that is due to the social aspects. You need a place that strikes a good balance and feels right for you.

Nnnn, last year (senior now) I had one safety school and one dream/reach school picked out and that was it. I'm obviously not he same as you, but I personally love the possibility of only knowing new people at a school.

Why would you pay thousands of dollars of money (regardless of the source) for socializing? What happens when you graduate and everyone goes their separate ways.

When I went to college, I didn't know anybody. Most of the people there knew each other somehow, cause they were from the same area or whatever and I knew nobody, plus half of my friends moved out of town. It was literally only bad for a week and then I came to terms with it. Building actual, non-superficial friendships takes time, especially for people like me who don't even care enough to attend all the classes and participate in all the activities, but it's not like it's impossible!

Girl keep a good circle of friends and make sure your grades are on fleek.

And that's something you have to be comfortable with. Visit the school(s) in question and see if the campus vibe meshes with you. Make sure you'd be okay going there even if none of your friends ended up attending. That way you don't settle for something less than you're capable of just based on friends alone.

If you're one of those ****s who know they wanna be a lawyer or a doctor or some ****, then academics. If you're normal, friends.
