and even if you wanna talk about IMPACT/INFLUENCE:
Beyoncé impact is more singular than Janet & Mariah.
Melisma was introduced by Whitney.. Mariah only made it more POP and since she was fresh and new with Vision Of Love people jumped on her. but real music followers will tell you that she snatched it from Whitney.
Janet impact on pop girls (female performers/ making dance a must) is hugely inspired by Tina Turner. like the Melisma case; she benefited from the fact that Tina was older and carried less to the large audience than her. she had 4 great albums I agree. but Beyoncé is def having another 2 great albums next and she already has 3 great albums (B'Day, 4, ST) so...
Beyoncé impacted R&B singing style with her DC singles.. SAY MY NAME, NO NO NO, etc.. rapsinging is beyonce, beyonce is rapsinging. secondly her diva-ish attitude mixed with her fierce stage persona is unique will continue to inspire. thridly, I can mention the surprise release....

Tina Turner's dance style is completely different to Janet's. Janet incorporated dance breakdowns, and made it a must in performing for pop girls. Tina Turner just grooved like Beyonce now. Apples and oranges here. Janet did the whole dance breakdown, crop-top, head mic (known as the Janet mic) thing. Every country has their own "Janet" she's actually credited by people outside these pop forums. Bey is credited for being the performer of our time, she's like the perfect student but she's not credited in real life for that level of impact. And B'Day and 4 are great and all, but their not GOAT albums like Janet's.
