Along with Marvel’s recent slew of casting announcements (including today’s announcement that Clint Eastwood will play Spider-Man in Civil War) comes news that global superstar Beyoncé will join the series climax, Avengers: Infinity War Part 2, as Beyoncé, a character known in the comics as Queen Bee.
She also announced that she was born with a number of superhuman abilities, none of which she is at freedom to expose thanks to an ironclad Disney/Marvel contract.
“I’m so proud to join this incredible connective universe,” announced Beyoncé on Twitter late last night, “but people please stop tweeting me asking about my powers. I really can’t say anything.”
According to Marvel President Kevin Feige, Beyoncé’s role has been integral to the ending of the Avengers series ever since day one.
“Ever since Nick Fury walked out of the shadows at the end of the first Iron Man, we’ve had a plan, and that plan, to a gigantic extent, has revolved around Beyoncé being introduced in Avengers: Infinity War Part 2,” said Feige.

They could have at least tried a bit and made it an Instagram "response."
