Look how many times she performed Diamonds though, each time was different and interesting and gave new life to the song, she is great performer especially with songs she is connected to. When has any ever been like "oh another Rihanna performance" She brings something new with each performance unlike a lot of artists.

Honestly, I support her for actually not being a promo ***** and pandering for attention she's too deep in the music industry to be doing all that. The singles have done better than Rated R's. She's being recognized for other stuff besides her music(which is what she wanted), and as a fan I support her. IF she doesn't get a number one then OH WELL. It's not that deep. She's going in a different direction and I'm here for it.

Trick please! It's been over 2 months since the era started and she's made a grand total of TWO music related appearances. And she is neither Madonna nor Streisand so that is irrelevant to the conversation. We could just as easily mention many others for whom promotion has translated to huge sales. But again, that's not the point.

WTF are you guys complaining about ...the era doing well so far. She released 2 songs that aren't nearly as radio friendly as her previous leads and they're both charting well. Everything is not about #1s. She's gonna have to move away from ready made chart toppers if she ever wants to build a legacy. I'm sure you guys will get your pop song on the album but I for one am glad that she's not releasing songs that everyone expects her to
