While it may have appeared that Aubrey O'Day took the brute of the situation as she was publicly fired, smeared by clever editing on the MTV series, it was actually Ebony & Ivory co-star, D. Woods.
The singer/songwriter spent the years after the groups demise traveling through Atlanta, GA. performing on the nightlife circuit, as well as appearing in stage performances, and last year's Blackbird (film) with Mo'Nique. However, the singer still faced issues resolving her balance at Bad Boy, being forced to release her music through mixtape until met with a better label deal.
When at the diner, a Waffle House in the upperclass neighborhood of Midtown Atlanta, D. Woods reminded, "it's always been my goal to serve people. I did it through music before and I can do it through food."
