Can someone please tell me why there were people cheering and screaming during "Princess Die" in TBTWB?

It actually would make an awesomely appropriate background in a studio version, but people hearing that song and their immediate reaction being "YAS, Gaga!"

It's a shame that there's a really apparent culture of hating on Gaga this week, particularly from TIDAL fans. It demonstrates that there's an extreme group mentality and safety-in-numbers thing going on here.

It's exciting to see innovation and effort going into the music industry - but I don't see TIDAL inspiring a change at all. It truly does seem to be a bunch of rich people trying to make more money. Most of the exclusives will only be for the big stars, and anyone up and coming won't have the pull to get fans onto a service like this. All it seems to be is a niche service or some elite music club that will simply crowd the market.

His era is truly 'ARTPOP'. I'm not even kidding. Everything about his era is Art & Pop. His videos, his performances, the way he expresses himself in interviews. He met Madonna & they're probably gonna collaborate one day. But anyway, Gaga x Stromae could be incredible visually.

I hope Gaga takes some notes from Rihanna and her #R8 in the sense that it's okay to combine quality stuff (45S) and carefree bops (BBHMM). I'm not talking about genres or sounds, just the concept that there has to be a balance.

I mean, Jay and Bey fans always look for a reason to seem better than everyone else. This week it's a streaming service being used to con people out of their money.

Beyonce's done that too. I kind of hope she realizes that too. But at the same time ratchet carefree bops can be quality too, so idk.

But was that not ARTPOP? we had plenty of songs that were pure quality (the title track, "Do What U Want", "Gypsy", etc), some plain simple dance bops ("Donatella", "Fashion!", "MANiCURE", etc), and some that were a little bit of both ("Sexxx Dreams", "Applause", "Venus", etc.). Granted, ARTPOP had a bit too many songs where the opinions were too polarizing, but she didn't rlly fail to fit in serious music and carefree music.
