Ugh thats too long, i want Camila to leave the group soon, she isn't fitting this whole RnB mess image, I want her to do something like Ellie Goulding did, she is destined to do music like that.
Try to listen to Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding, you'll hear the similarities between the both of them, Ellie has softer voice while camila has huskier/raspier voice. But the way they carry the note is however sounds similar
I say 2017 because it seems like Worth It will be their big break and they will become known so I think they'll release at least two more albums, one next year and one in 2017. But I agree they have similar techniques

Some of the girls might have star power and some might have a legion of fans behind them but they were put in a group because they wouldn't survive as soloists. They all lack one thing that pushes them into being that perfect soloist - however, I'd say Dinah comes close to having that full package - brilliant vocalist, excellent performer and captivating personality. But the music that I see Dinah and Normani releasing seems like RNB/Urban Pop Music like the likes of Sevyn and Tinashe that won't really make much of an impact. Just look at the state of the current new female solo artists we have are already'; they are struggling - Tori Kelly, Tinashe, Sevyn, Charli XCX and Jasmine V. The industry is really hostile when it comes to female artists - everyone literally dragged Tinashe to pits when she was hailed the new Beyonce and is constantly facing criticism because of it. I don't even think Camila wants a solo singing career in fact she seems more like a singer/songwriter type - she recently was in the studio writing a song for LunchMoney Lewis' album and it's made the cut.
Plus the fact that all the girls' solo releases will be managed by Sony/Syco after they split isn't a good thing either. It's likely to bomb
Anyways yes give Worth It that promo Taylor, currently at #35 on iTunes!
I disagree. The amount of popularity that Camila has at this point is insurmountable and cannot be ignored. The fact that she's friends with Taylot Swift, Selena Gomez, and Lorde while none of the others are, should be enough to show you what exactly we're dealing with. Compare her followers on all her social media platforms to the rest of the members. Also, what about Meghan? She came out of NO WHERE and is one of the biggest names right now, as is Iggy, and Nobody Love is coming. Camila already has the fans that are willing to support her, including her popular friends who are already promoting her just by being in Fifth Harmony. Camila has something really special and unique about her that people love, she has the charisma, she has the beauty, and she has the vocals to do it and I think she will be able to have a huge solo career and I'm sure Simon has taken note of it.

That's all true - but there so many female artists that have been trying to get that top ten hit. Tori Kelly has iHeartRadio coverage and her song was drifting around the 60/70s despite having double the audience Worth It has. Charli XCX, Rita Ora, Sevyn, Tinashe are all struggling to make a massive impact. Even Jennifer Hudson is struggling!
Yes, Camila has famous friends but they're just her 'friends'. I just can't see any of the girls having success as a solo act. They need at least another five/six years together so that their voices develop and their ability to perform develops. Even then I can't see any of the girls becoming a main tier pop girl.

I'd say we should focus on FIFTH HARMONY the group to have an actual smash hit first and then some more before thinking who's gonna make it and who won't

Dinah and Normani slay worth it but lets be real here, none of them will make it far if they are going solo.
Camila is the closest one that we can call a full package. She loves attention and she knows how to put herself in a spotlight. This industry is a bitch and i can see she's handling it well so far. i mean, now she's friends with taylor, she's the closest one with meghan, she's building her own link and relatives... and what about the others? they are too busy concentrating on their jeaolusy feeling towards camila. Look at normani, look how she acts like she is Rihanna, but has zero networking capability. she ain't happen, they are busy and happy with be friends with zendaya... like gurl....

Fifth Harmony is the real deal girl group. I can't think of any other girl group i liked so much. The Pussycat Dolls had some good bops but it was all about Nicole I was a little kid when Destiny Child was popular and i never really liked their music... I can't see the girls going solo because they are so good together.

Now sis I think we can all agree they are not sticking together for 5 more years if it's already been 3

We'll see! Pretty sure they've signed a 3 album-deal and it took over two years for the first one to come out

Ethereal, I wasn't trying to derail the thread. My post wasn't directed at Camila, it was about Taylor and how she pretty much doesn't pay attention to the other group members like that. The fact that she said "your song" before Camila said "our" doesn't sit well with me is all. As much as we all have our favorites, let's face it, none of them would work solo. Not right now at least.

I get that boo! I would have been fuming if she didn't mention that it was the group's song but she remained loyal and I think that's what people need to remember. Everyone's saying Camila will be the first to leave and the same was said about Harry Styles three years into their careers but Zayn was the first one that ended up leaving.
But 5H is nothing like 1D and we as fans see more of what goes on behind the scenes than the casual fans who judges their relationship based on who they hang out with and how they act at award shows. Their relationship is stronger than ever and just because they're in a group doesn't mean they need to have the same friends. Normani and Dinah are closer with Zendaya than the others...
