The same people who stan for Bitch Better Have My Money spitting on Jay-Z for wanting to get moeny for his music. He's already paid? How? He gets paid for his endorsements/ventures, not for his music, he's getting paid for his performances not for the music he creates and that masses of people will listen to for free. And he's right it's all in the mindset of people. Even "music lovers" in here feel like it's a shame we should pay for music, this is disastrous for me
At the same time you scream YAASSS when the concert ticket prices go sky high on a
secondary market. Again, tragic.
Jay is saying he wants music creators to get adequate amount of money for their job. It's not greed, it's normal and it's more about writers behind these songs, not only himself. Have you ever heard how many problems artists (musicians, book writers, screen writers etc.) have when they're older? Writers rights, at least in my country, won't give you any money when you're older even when people still using or even profiting from your work.
As a music lover when I started my first serious job I stopped pirating mp3 etc. but started buying them from the services cause it's still better help for the artist than nothing. Then if I hear this is supposed to be fairer for the artists I will use it. And since you have no proof it's not better than Spotify for artists you should just hush.
