What exactly did Rihanna do that was so much better? She is only a marginally better singer than Madonna/Tyler. lol
Her outfit was on point, stage presence was killer and the outro was amazing. Madge singing a beige ballad with Taylor on a guitar wasn't entertaining or good. Just there.
Rihanna was one of two performances I paid attention to for more than 15 seconds while watching the show on my DVR. Madonna and Taylor were the other one.
I did end up fast-forwarding Rihanna's performance after about 90 seconds because it was pretty much the same (really fun) hook and moving around for the 90 seconds I watched. The song is catchy and I'm sure it'll be another big hit for her.
I stayed for Madonna and Taylor's entire performance. Surprisingly, this felt like Madonna's most organic hook-up with the young-blood in ages. I enjoyed this mature performance from Madonna a lot. Gurl needs to give in to her ballad side (65/35 ratio ballad) if she ever wants a new album that's going to be a significant hit.
