And what are you basing this on? Chart positions? Because there are plenty of receipts of SL's international impact...

Anyways, Even if it was, It's not like any of the other pop girls other than Gaga and Adele have had any iconic songs since 2008 either so.

That's the only way they know how to measure a song's success. By their logic, "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder and "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong aren't iconic since they didn't even enter the Hot 100.
