My best year in high school, I literally didn't have friends during my freshman and sophmore year (high school is only 3 years here) and I met pretty awesome people, plus, all my afternoons were free.
But college >>>

I feel like it was the most memorable year of my life even though nothing really eventful happened.
School was really important to me that year. I remember obsessing over every single assignment and being stressed whenever I had exams. EVERY assignment I did was an all-nighter. I went to school on zero hours of sleep, came home at 3pm and crashed. I never handed it in and went back home. I always just toughed the day out. No idea why. It ****ed up my sleeping pattern for life though. I ended up doing really well in school though. I got 96.50 in my HSC (it's out of 100) so I got into a really good course at a really prestigious Uni.
But towards the end of my senior year, I left my external hard drive in a computer in the library and when I went back for it, it was gone. It was FULL of hardcore gay ****. Like 200 hours of bodybuilders just going at it like rabbits. I was terrified. So I went to the principal and I was like "please, you don't understand, it had all my HSC notes on it." So after lunch (during period 5 and 6) he made an announcement for all the students in Year 7 and 8 to search the grounds and classrooms for it. So for 2 hours, about 300 twelve year olds were searching the grounds of my Catholic high school for 200 hours of hardcore gay ****.

I just wanted to get through it. My sophomore and junior years were amazing, but most of my friends were a year older than me so I only had a few left my senior year. I decided to graduated early and then I just started college a semester early. I haven't regretted it yet

Probably the easiest year of HS in my opinion. I was taking college courses in the morning and heading back to HS at lunch time. I was completely BOOKED and I was making straight A's. Believe it or not, it was the easiest year. I think my junior year was the hardest.
As far as social status goes, I was on speaking terms to some of the guys who would tease me and stuff. It was a learning experience, but also we realized that we weren't going to see each other anymore..we kind of grew up.

I can sincerely say that every day of my last year in school was spent drunk out of my mind. It was the most social I have ever been before or since then.

By the 2nd semester I gave no ****s and got lazy. It was fun.
The summer after senior year is easily one of the best times to cherish. You have nothing to worry about and you can have all the fun you want.

The best year of high school. Everyone was really close friends (minus the rejects who refused to talk to anyone), I was only in school about 3 hours a day due to study periods & my prom was amazing.

Like others have stated, it's easily the best year of HS. My senior year was easy, relaxed, and fun filled. The worse part is spending a million dollars on prom, perfecting your personal statement/essay, completing college apps, and the SATs. So senior year is fun but it's busy too.

It was okay, I had a lot going on with myself personally for the last half of the year and I never really felt like 'Wow i cant believe everything is changing' , it really didnt hit me that high school was actually over. I had only a few close friends that year opposed to the bigger group of friends that I had in my earlier years of high school. I loved the senior cruise that we had on the Hudson river overlooking Manhattan, it was so beautiful at night.
My junior year (2012-2013) was my favorite year of high school, i became closer with some amazing people and it was just a fun year.

Easily the best year of my life in recent memory. I got accepted into all of the schools I applied to, I did amazingly well in classes, my social life was amazing, I had a great part-time job, great friendships, had these cute str8 guys flirting with me and I started discovering AMAZING music (some of my all-time favorite albums I listened to for the first time that year). My peak, tbh

It was pretty good. I had to take an extra class b/c I wouldn't graduate if I didn't take it. Luckily, I passed it. I also passed Geometry the third time taking it. Luckily, I had my best friend taking basically the same classes as me, so we helped each other when we could. Unfortunately, he didn't get to graduate with me, but he did graduate during the summer. Overall, I enjoyed it, it was fun -- easily my favorite year in HS.
