Welcome to the "Debut Vs. Sophomore" thread. It's simple. It's a thread wherein you choose which one of your faves'
first two major-label releases do you prefer. A track-vs-track comparison is
not encouraged, but here are some tips on how to make a choice if you haven't (and if you already know which one you prefer, these would help other members understand).
- You choose your
top three tracks per album and determine which set weighs more.
- You can also state some points as your decision's foundation - i.e.
better era, cohesive album, well-handled, thought-out concept, etc.
The artists of choice would be in random, but it wouldn't hurt to request. The major pop girls, of course, are on the list, so no need to worry. Voting time per artist would be 3-4 days. Votes are counted afterwards, and the album with the most votes wins.
Let's do this although this would likely flop.
(unless there's a similar thread for this already, well, let's not do this.)
I'd be including the UK version of Sticks + Stones tho, since it came out first. 
Plus, Sometimes is probably in my top 5 Britney songs so that gives it an extra bonus. Both albums are fantastic, though.
