Two!
Story time: My Dentist had unqualified people working for her in her office (she is a ****** dentist, but a really cheap dentist.) So, the lady who was cleaning my teeth was educated in Mexico, which has different standards from the US. She was supposed to just clean, but started doing the procedure without my actual dentist to supervise.
She drilled into the wrong tooth (wrong side) and got so deep into my tooth that they just went on with the procedure. She couldn't find my nerve in my jaw (bottom), so she kept digging around in the side of my mouth. Really hurt. Then, when I started crying (seriously, excruciating pain starts happening that close to the roots without Novocaine in full effect) they took the needle, stuck it directly into the nerve under my tooth, and injected more Novocaine.
There has never been a more localized, direct, and searingly painful feeling in my entire life.
4 hours, 7 Novocaine shots, and a life scarring experience later, I had a root canal...in the wrong tooth. Had to go back to get my crown laid on (it cracked about two months later. **** it. I'm not fixing that.)
Went to a different dentist to get the ACTUAL problematic tooth fixed: 30 minutes, 1 shot of Novocaine, get a cheap ass filling instead of a crown, and it is still perfectly fine.

So you let someone cleaning your teeth pick up a drill and start drilling on your teeth? Are you insane?
