But I am more furious at them trying to ban cross dressing/doing drag I am a student and I am really into the drag scene. Their reasoning is so IGNORANT. The drag scene has ALWAYS welcomed trans people with open arms and accepted them for who they are. For them to try and say that cross dressing is offensive to trans people is so ****ing stupid. It boils my piss. Even if it's just banning people from doing it at fancy dress parties or whatever, it's still EXTREMELY offensive. Do you know how many people try drag for the first time at halloween and/or at parties? It can be really liberating and for many gay people it can give them some sort of motivation to keep on living and bring others joy. Who the **** do they think they are to try and stop people from having that experience?

These feminists need to open a ****ing book and read up on the history of drag culture and trans people. They are so willing to label others as ignorant and prejudice but they don't even know their facts. I really hope this gains more traction so that the whole WORLD can call them out on their stupidity.

Lol some people (black AND white) do the most. I saw this on queerty few days ago and felt embarassed for the cultural appropriation and for those black women always talking about racism and sterotype but liking being associated with those things.
I respect everyone, but I will use whatever mannerisms I want, I use what I find funny, because I like it! And liking something that's a part of black culture makes me racist? Still don't get it.

This stuff comes from gay black men and our gay white counterparts use this lingo. If anything I think it brings people together I see black women using this lingo to praise gay people and this is a a very homophobic community, yet they embrace the slang as they're own. It's a good thing they are messing up the peace.
