Why is this news worthy? As if label would be stupid enough to not have their solo contracts secured.

I'd much rather see him do his solo stuff at another label though... just for the sake of change.
But I guess Syco isn't that bad in the promo for 1D stuff.

This is so smart. Get Zayn to leave the group for a solo career right before 1D's decline. The he establishes a career. 1D eventually breaks up leaving Harry who will more than likely be the most successful solo artist. Then you have Liam and Louis who might just have a chance but more than likely won't. And poor Niall can keep his innocent Irish ass with me. Everyone is happy while Simon CONTINUES to make them coins.

Maybe he caused it to happen. He's so money hungry. He should've at least gotten Zayn on a mother label to look less obvious.

even if zayn just stood still on the stage lip syncing his songs people will still go in thousands to see that pretty face
