^Yes Gabe
So I've been thinking of starting a game based on music writing.
The Outline
Sign-Ups: for 2-3 days
The premise (optional): The board in charge of a publication (or atrlcritic) is looking for new music reviewers. We decided to audition writers for the new position and test them out to see what they can do.
Gameplay: I give all the reviewers a song to review, judges review the reviews written by contestants and narrow down the contestants.
The rounds: I start out giving everyone one song to review in a couple sentences.
I will start out with a current hit like Sugar and then give out more obscure or older songs and maybe go as far as an EP or album for the finals.
I may do a theme round or two depending on the amount of contestants: like review a song with GIFS or pictures or write a negative, or trash the song completely to keep the game very cool and interesting.
Right now, I was thinking of mainly keeping everything centered in the Games section. But, I would like to involve atrlcritic in some capacity for the cross-promo and #synergy
I may have contestants review a coupleatrlcritic song/album of their choice and post in the thread.
The amount of rounds and songs would depend on the interest and the amount of players but I figure it could be fun game; especially for the members who enjoy writing (it may flop, in that case but I am willing to take that risk).
I would like to start this game soon (within the next week or so).
I haven't started a game before so I was looking to see if anybody had any tips on hosting or possible feedback.
