I had two when I was younger, however I'm pretty sure they were sick from the day I got them as everyday the water would be black and would smell like ****, eventually after like a week, they died and my mum flushed them down the toilet when I was asleep.
Have you had a pet goldfish? They're pretty common for kids.
Not the gold one, but I had a betta fish
They die very fast and my mom used to change the dead one with a new fish so I used to think they changed color cause every month it was a different fish

Nooo not a goldfish but I had a fish but he was black, I don't know what kind of fish he was but his name was Chico. One day I came home and he was gray and dead I cried so bad when I had to flush him
My parents used to get fish all the time when I was younger but I think my mom got sick of it because one time one of the fish got stuck in one of the little toy things you can put in the bowl and when I brought it up she told me she was "having babies" despite her being the only fish in the bowl and then she ended up dying because she couldn't move to get to any food and that was the last fish we ever had
yas I had two, one was called Fireball and the other was called Blackie (because he had a black freckle, don't judge I was legit like 5 when I named it). Fireball got really fat and died and when we moved house we set Blackie free into my grandma's pond to live w/ all the other fishies.
I got 2 for my bday 2 years ago cuz my friends wanted to be funny
I put the bowl outside for like a few hours and a cat snatched them
Problem solved henny
This is going to sound crazy to y'all, but I think keeping fish as pets is so unexciting and cruel. You're keeping fish in a tiny bowl - preventing them from their natural habitat just so you can look at them for three seconds seconds each time you pass by? They spend their entire lives in this small mother****ing bowl (by themselves usually) just so you can having a glance at them from time to time. It's cruel towards the fish and unexciting for you and the fish.
