Do you know this Music Video? MYSTERY SOLVED: Roxette - Any1
Hey Atrlers! I would like to please ask help for those of ya who love to watch music videos esp in MTV. Theres this certain music video scenes that are stuck in my mind but I cannot really distinguish who is the artist and I need to watch it again because it popped out of my memory recall. Anyways, heres some descriptions I can vividly remember from this video
1. This video is on rotation on MTV probably circa 1996-2001, this was the last time Ive seen the video too because I watch MTV all the time as a kid
2. Song is sung by a white woman and it is like a melancholy rockish ballad.
3. Now in the video, the woman can be seen walking barefoot from her hotel to the streets, passing highways
4. I can remember clearly she is singing also with an abandoned swimming pool as a backdrop
5. MOST STRIKING remembrance from the video is the female singer just sings the song as she keeps on walking barefoot and TOWARDS the end she reaches on a sea and keeps on walking and walking on the beach towards the sea until the end of the song the sea level reaches on her head (like drowning herself comitting suicide)
6. VIDEO is SUNNY LOCATION, and the PLACE IS LIKE a VACATION SPOT or TOURIST ATTRACTION

MUSIC VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
- It is heavy rotation during 1997-2003 in MTV and Channel V, I think
- The video begins by the woman (the singer) on the beach,.as the song starts. Then camera focus nothing but on her as she is walking towards the sea/ocean as she is singing the verses. She continues singing the song as she keep walking and walking in the sea and getting deeper and deeper but she doesnt care, probably her own intention to be drowned. Then after the bridge of the song, the sea water is now above her waist as she still keep singing the ballad. Towards the near end of the video, she finally held her last breath as the sea water covers her head and appears that she's drowned. The camera still focus on her , then focuses to the sea without her body. The entire video is shot in the ocean and theres some scenes where she is in a hotel and walking barefoot in the streets and an abandoned swimming pool but there's no story on it, but the singer sang it from the beginning of the song to the end, by just walking and walking until to the sea until she gets drowned.

Thanks but Norah didnt drown herself in the end..Im pretty sure that the singer drowned herself in the end in the video its heavy rotation on MTV back then like 1997-2001 probably around that time
Its by a female... Im almost certain its a melancholic ballad because in the video she sings as she walks through the city, to the abandoned pool and lastly to the sea where she commited suicide by drowning I really cant put my finger on it in this music video
Someone who watches MTV 24.7 back in the day like 90s..early 2000s..would definitely know this one! its been a long time ive seen this video,,probably more than decade for sure..but the imagery is so striking that I can still remember esp..the singer walking singing the song drowning herself at the end
