Yeah, but we all know he's either not dead or will come back, most likely before the next Ninja Turtles movie comes out. I don't read TMNT, but unless this book where Donatello dies is some alternate universe book, then he's not going to be gone for good. People who read that book, read it for those four specific characters, just like I read B&R for Batman and Robin, not Batman and Wonder Woman, Batman and Aquaman, and whatever titles DC issued for that book while Damien was dead, and there was no Robin.
"Donnie's death" is all over FB, and everyone's talking about it, which will translate into a sales boost. That's all this is.
