Louis is one of the driving forces behind Sony's Be in the Band 2015 as he searches for a girl band to mentor.

On March 8 he retweeted Be in the Band saying: "We're holding auditions for #BeInTheBand2015 in London this week."

Louis has launched his own company called 78 Productions Ltd where he was registered as a company director on January 7.

“Louis has his business head screwed on and is busy making plans for the future. He’s rated very highly at Sony and they knew he’d be great to get on board.
“Louis accepted their offer straight away. He has visions of being a music boss in the future and has a good eye for new talent.

“There are even industry rumours he’ll end up as an X Factor judge at some point down the line.”

Louis and Jack grew close when the singing hopeful was a wild card on X Factor.
Last year he told how he trusted Louis more than his own mentor Mel B and Tomlinson was enraged that Jack was voted off the show.

Louis tweeted it was a “f****** joke” that Jack had been booted off the show.
Jack said: “I didn’t really like the song choices.

“I’ve got massive support from him, he’s been a massive help throughout the competition telling me what I should sing. I wish I had listened to him a little bit more. He’s been so involved. I trusted his judgment more than Mel B."

Personally, I think this whole "leaving" thing is not really leaving. Its just press for their new and future projects. They're all still on the same label/management, I believe. Just taking care of their futures. I think since he wont have a solo singing career - Music Manager/X Factor judge/Louis Walsh is perfect for him...
Liam Harry Zayn will go solo for sure.

I don't think he'll leave 1D for now but i can definitely see him doing that in the future.

Out of the boys, he's the one with the least chances to be succeed on a solo career tbh, so this will be good for him.
