I would too. I like my job not because it pays well, because of the adventure, going to places normal people wouldn't know it exists and always discovering new things. I would be bored too if I have to stay for weeks alone inside and watch the plants grow.
She sees the end of this high-octane adventure/trip/ride, no more roaming the world, no more meeting fans everywhere and knows that the boring days will come.
Her body needs rest, her team needs this Summer vacation because they sacrificed the Summer of 2014 for her NA slayage,... It's the right thing to do: Not pushing herself and her team over the edge.
Between CDT and PWT, there was 2 years of not touring. Her next tour would be in 2018.
