I like the first album better too and I feel the same way about IPIOH.
I hope the new album will debut at #1 still!
I can't wait for the finale tonight, especially to hear DK's fate. I'm still hoping for a reunion.
the reunion "live finale" thing isnt until next week. I've heard rumors for people with "sources" they are getting back together. Maybe just for 1 cd though.
"Bi-Polar", "So Good" and "Your Heels" are the only tracks I can literally listen to without skipping. I prefer their debut.
For some reason I feel like Diddy let DK go so he can promote Day 26, I heard they are doing decent in sells. Maybe it was hard promoting two groups at once. lol
Ok so i gave the CD a good listen last night and it's actually pretty good...esp. the bonus track "One Night Only" that's my favorite so far...Im not sure where the cd is gonna land on billboard next week...
I still think they should've taken que's advice atleast for one song so they can become more mainstream, but hey one can only wonder...
I listened to thier album yesterday, it was boring as hell. BUT, "Imma Put It On Her" & "BiPolar" and a few other tracks I think are ****ing smash records in the making!
The final numbers are in for the debut of “Forever In A Day” and its first week release. DAY26 sold a very impressive 115,209 copies, landing them in the #2 position.
What can really be expected? Diddy sucks ass at promotion. Well, when it comes to his artists. The only promo I have seen for this album is MTB4 and some cheap ass commercials that stopped airing when the CD came out.
MTB4 really can't be counted as promotion though. It mostly featured Que fighting with his bandmates. There was almost no talk of how they actually worked on the album. Either they are going the be sent to the studio really quickly to get started on another album, or Diddy will drop them in his usual manner.
So far, they have sold 150,296, BUT their new sales will be out this week, so probably around 170,000...last year they sold Around 195,000 copies their 1st week
