I'd say she's built a very strong fanbase, i was really surprised by her first week numbers but she totally deserves it. She's an amazing artist, songwriter and vocalist

Oh, and the album received many positive reviews, not all of them have been added to metacritic, Rolling Stone gave it 4/5

Who really knew Charli even when she was on Fancy? People were referring to her as "that girl on fancy" and even publications called her Charlie XCM or CXM. Nobody knew her name until Boom Clap. Charli might as well be a new artist both in the UK and in America where as Marina is more established.

But Charli's career is on the come-up whereas marina is on the downhill so the Diamonds can grasp at what few straws they have remaining
