I would go to Latham Circle Mall which used to be a dead mall and the only thing that was still open there were the movies and at most there would be like 3 people watching a movie at a time but they started tearing it down like a year ago and now they're rebuilding it
The mall in my hometown used to have at least 60ish stores and it's down to around five.
One anchor, one place in the food court, a vendor who sells crafts by an escalator (I wouldn't have counted them before ), a haircut place and a few service/cell places. I think that it's still open makes it worse. The most action it sees are people who exercise around in it.
There is a huge one in China called the 'New South China Mall', that when built in 2005, was the largest mall in the world (659,612 square meters or 7,100,000 sq ft) . The owners expected an average of 100,000 people to visit the mall per day, but that certainly didn't happen... and today the mall less than 20% occupied.
