Why? Because this is a business, and a business decision had to be made. The band has to maintain a certain image to be successful, and that image definitely does not include what he has become. The drugs have taken over his life. He has gotten thinner and thinner, he can’t even pretend to be in a stable relationship, he can’t control his outbursts, he can’t do his job, he can’t pass a drug test, and he can’t get insurance. He had to go.

I don't see why they couldn't just do a half year to year off. It was pretty obvious after MM they were set. Four and the current tour could've waited. Smh.
who is this? and being honest why would his management let him go this easily when they know Zayn is a great part of the band along with harry because the other ones are not that popular like him... I think all of this was planned by him as an excuse.
