I feel like people are either theist or atheist, it's rare to get an agnostic. And to be honest, I kinda think they have it right you know. It's kinda like the straight/gay thing and agnostics are bi.

Plus there's the media basically saying "Theists vs Atheists!". Kinda like straight/gay, republican/democrat, etc.

There's actually about the same number of atheists and agnostics in the U.S., if I recall correctly.

I was just thinking this, theists and atheists are kinda loud and believe their way is the only way. While agnostics are like none of you know the right way. It seems like a more logical path.

I'm agnostic, it just makes the most sense.

nn I'm agnostic and bi. I think people just tend to focus on only the extremes (believing in god or not believing in god) and the people in the middle get lost in the shuffle.

Not believing in God is not extreme.

Self-declared agnostics are also atheists, the weak or passive ones. Agnosticism is just a position on knowledge, not a position on belief. There can only be two positions when it comes to belief in the existence God. It's either theism or atheism. There is no neutral or third position. Agnostics are just the more intellectually honest of the atheists.

That would make agnostics theists not atheists.

Well if you consider theists anything other than human evolution then yes agnosticism is theism.

Because we're just to cool.
