Why does the Fate series have to confuse me so much
Are the Kara no Kyoukai movies anyway connected to the Fate series?????
Not really.
Only on Fate/EXTRA those two "worlds" connect each other, since Touko and Shiki both make an appearance there.
You should see this character relationship graphic.
It includes all the characters from fate, kara no kyoukai, tsukihime and melty blood (basically the nasuverse except from some series).

No, they are just created by the same comapany (TYPE MOON) and adapted into anime by the same studio (UFOTABLE)

Anyways if you were wondering Fate/Zero is considered the prequel of Fate Stay Night, but it shouldn't hurt watching Fate Zero first since that came out first
