Of course these people might just be bull******** us but its still interesting
I'm not afraid of dying. Its just as natural as being born and its completely inevitable. I just hope I get to live a long and happy life before it happens

I would disagree that near-death experiences (NDEs) can provide sufficient evidence for the existence of an afterlife.
From Wikipedia, here are two commonly reported sensations during NDEs. I will explain each.
- A sense/awareness of being dead: if you're effectively dying, it seems logical that you'd think you're dying.
- A sense of peace, well-being and painlessness: when you die, all of your pain evaporates and you're not stressed because dead people aren't stressed. Also indicative of an acceptance of death, after possibly fearing it for a long time.
I could go on, but I believe that every component of an NDE is reasonably explainable, and provides no evidence for an afterlife.
A nice quote from an article in
Scientific American about NDEs: "scientific evidence suggests that all features of the near-death experience have some basis in normal brain function gone awry."
