Well in the last of her life she was awful and its a reason they didnt honor her and nothing excuses saying your glad kids are dead.
Joan may have made a difference in the industry, but it doesn't change the fact that she said some really hurtful things about so many different celebrities. They are still people at the end of the day with feelings. Joan may have been a comedian, but she also took her comedy too far. And as other people have said, she was more of a TV personality than a movie one. I don't think it was a priority for her to be honored here.
