The last Bush's approval rating in 2014 was around 50% where as Clintons is in the mid 60s. Thats double digits. Its not the same thing. The difference is way outside of the error margins. Plus if people relitigate both Clintons and Bushs lasting impressions youll see the numbers heading back to where they were when they left office. As people begin to evaluate his brother W's ratings will come down again.
Making fun of the fact hilary was cheated on by her husband may not go over well with many women voters. Clinton's scandal did not work out so well for Republicans the first time. I suspect it wont if they bring it up again. Republicans should tread lightly as marriages have their ups and downs and the clinton machine can spin it into a story about standing by her man...the definition of a loser is doing the samething twice and expecting a different result as we've learned with W.
Many people lost their retirement when The Bush economy crashed. Bill Clinton on the other hand had people feeling good about the economy and rest assured he will be campaigning for and with Hilary and he has the talents she doesnt. He is a credible voice because he has direct access to the white house and he's considered a successful president by the general public. Again thats powerful...having a two for one...especially after the irresponsible excesses of the Bush years and the gridlock of the Obama years Clinton will look like a god send.

Yet I think almost every state, including Arkansas, they rallied at in 2014 lost to republicans, so how powerful is that Clinton machine again? Obviously the republicans are going to attack her on women issues if she attacks them on women issues. She will lose that argument on the Clinton Foundation donations alone. They don't need to drag Monica into it, Monica already did that by popping up out of the blue awhile back, it's not just one thing, it's all the little things added together that the Clinton's get away with that are dragging her favorable rating is below 50% right now.
Hillary: Hufffpost favorable rating tracking 233 polls from 30 pollsters
People remember the good times? When the republicans took control of congress in '95 I sure do remember that. Bill worked with Newt even though they practically hated each other. I don't think the same climate exists today.
His gallop poll approval ratings 1993 - 23%, 1994 - 46%, 1995 - 47%
Republicans take control of senate and house, 1996 - 54%, 1997 - 58%, 1998 - 64%... So Bill with zero control of congress is gaining quite a bit here I wonder why?
I think you can agree that whoever wins needs to work with congress to get things rolling again.
