The 2014 final drew just over seven million.
When asked what she brought to the talent show she replied: “Four million viewers.”
The 24-year-old, who took over from Kylie Minogue this season, is tipped to return for a second run, but she refused to confirm it, saying: “Let me get through this series first.”
She revealed the contest has made her appreciate the “amount of talent there is out there” and has attracted older fans to her own music.

“And I’m like, ‘You know who I am!’ So thanks to The Voice for expanding my fanbase.”
