People forgetting that artists do music as their job. Of course they would choose more profitable venues. It's entertainment for you, but business for them.
I dont really care, I have the ****ing album and all her other albums
This streaming debate is ****ing annoying, each to their own. if you want to pay, pay, if you dont want to pay, than don't, simple.
What s the big deal, JayZ offers more for her music and she thinks it's its real value
Quote:
At its core, the value of an album amounts to the quantity of the "heart and soul" its creator put into it, Swift wrote. But in her opinion, despite the fact that piracy has drained the record industry's coffers, music is valuable and worth the price of admission. "Music is art, and art is important and rare," she wrote. "Important, rare things are valuable. Valuable things should be paid for. It's my opinion that music should not be free, and my prediction is that individual artists and their labels will someday decide what an album's price point is. I hope they don't underestimate themselves or undervalue their art."
so what your problem, maybe it s just time for some of your faves to make valuable music to be admitted on TIDAL
You all think the Lord is the only deciding factor in business decisions related to Her career, and the only one who stands to profit from them. You think so highly of Her.
I totally understand her on this one. You dont work for years...put in a huge amount of time, money, emotions and effort into a record to give it away for free
It is also not just about her, but about the whole team of writers and producers who stand behind the album and get royalties for their writing credits

Maybe this is what's wrong witht he music industry. Artists and labels care so much about money, that they are forgetting the meaning of music. It has become nothing but a dollar sign.
If Tidal catches on, watch people flock back to pirating.
